At Admisssionism, your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (encrypted).

Profile information: Academic scores (GPA, IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, etc.), nationality, education background, and career goals that you voluntarily provide.

Usage data: Pages visited, features used, credits earned and spent, applications submitted on the platform, and essays generated.

Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, and cookies for session management.

Payment data: If you purchase credits, payment is processed by our third-party payment provider (Safepay / Stripe). We do not store your card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and personalise the platform experience
  • To generate AI-powered content tailored to your profile (essays, match scores, simulations)
  • To manage your account, credits, and transactions
  • To send you important account notifications and updates
  • To improve our AI models and platform quality (using anonymised, aggregated data only)
  • To prevent fraud and ensure platform security

3. AI Processing

Some of your profile data and essay inputs are sent to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate AI content. This is processed securely and is subject to Anthropic’s data usage policies. We do not use your personal essays or profile data to train external AI models without your explicit consent.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share data with:

  • Service providers: Hosting (Hostinger), payment processing (Safepay/Stripe), and AI processing (Anthropic) — strictly to deliver our service
  • Legal requirements: If required by Pakistani law or a valid court order

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Mock applications and generated essays are retained to allow you to view your history. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for login sessions and platform functionality. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect platform functionality.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To make a request, email us at privacy@admissionism.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has registered without consent, please contact us and we will delete the account promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on the platform.
